Can You Support the PTO’s Annual Fund?
The PTO relies on financial support from families to ensure the sustainability of our community now and in future years. Funds raised this year go directly to teachers, students, and our community. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by January 31st, and we’re more-than half way there. Will you help? Donate online by clicking this link. (Suggested donation: $100 per student.)

Support the Businesses that Support Us
Give Back Business
Mason-Rice’s annual online auction is usually the PTO’s biggest fundraiser. This year, because of the pandemic, we are not hosting the auction. Instead, in each week’s Notes, we are spotlighting the amazing businesses that have generously supported our auction year after year. We hope that now, during their time of need, you’ll consider patronizing those who have consistently supported our PTO.
Don’t forget to support the previously-spotlighted businesses! You can find them in the past Notes on our PTO webpage.
This Week’s Business: The Conservatory
The Conservatory is Newton’s newest and fastest growing music school, providing music lessons for students of all ages and instruments for the past 5 years. The Conservatory was founded by former Newton music teacher, Dave Carroll, with the hope of bringing the highest quality music education with the most fun, patient, and expert teachers around. The Conservatory offers music lessons for all instruments and styles. They have incredible teachers for guitar, piano, voice, strings, brass, drums, woodwinds, ukulele, recording and engineering lessons, rock-bands, jazz-bands and so much more.
With the pandemic, The Conservatory was able to adapt and help keep the music alive providing high quality virtual music lessons.
The Conservatory would like to thank the Newton community for its support and offer a free 15 minute virtual lesson. Email them here or sign up on their website.
Happy New Year from The Conservatory, let’s make music in 2021!
