The Mason-Rice PTO Communications pillar aims to foster relationships within the school community through weekly newsletters, our PTO website, and social media.
The role of the Mason-Rice PTO is to foster and support the parent-to-school relationship. These past couple of years have shown us more than ever that community and connectedness are instrumental in pulling us through difficult circumstances. Our communications team are hard at work to keep you plugged-in and connected to what is happening in our school community.
How do you stay connected?
- Newsletters – Emailed to you every Friday. If you have an active Membership Toolkit (MTK) account, you will automatically receive these newsletters. (See below for MTK info)
- Facebook – Join our private group
- Instagram – Follow us!
Parents, do you have an active account in our online directory? Our PTO communicates via our private online directory, Membership Toolkit. To receive communications, you must have an active and updated account in the directory. Whether you are a new or returning family, please create or confirm your contact information in Membership Toolkit as soon as possible so we can keep you up-to-date on the many happenings throughout the school year. Not receiving communications? If you have an active MTK account and have not received recent correspondence, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can troubleshoot the issue.

Please, sign up for an account! This will help the PTO and room parents:
- Better communicate electronically with parents.
- Keep an accurate count of students and households by classroom and grade.
- Print the right number of parent handouts.
- Please don’t make room parents keep separate contact lists!
