Mason-Rice Newsletter Submission Form

The Mason-Rice Notes is the PTO’s weekly newsletter. It is emailed on Friday mornings and includes:

• Updates from the Principal and PTO
• PTO and school-related events, programs, and opportunities
• Newton Public School initiatives

The PTO also is happy to promote the following through its monthly Community Classifieds newsletter and its private Facebook group:

• Newton community happenings primarily sponsored by the City of Newton
• Classifieds from Mason-Rice families and alumni.

If you have an announcement that fits into one of the above categories, please use the form below to submit your news. If you have an announcement for the Classifieds see instructions below the form.

Submission Format
Please enter final content (except for attachments) directly into the Description field below or into an email sent directly to mrnotessubmissions@gmail.com. The News Editor Team will prioritize submissions that are “final” (require little editing) when preparing the Notes. Submissions should not exceed one paragraph unless detailed information about a Mason-Rice specific initiative needs to be communicated.

1. Title: Overview of announcement/event
2. Logistics: Date, time, location
3. RSVP information (email or website link)
4. * Photos, logos, or graphics are welcome, but please email these separately to mrnotessubmissions@gmail.com(be sure to clarify if they need to be attached to a Note that was submitted through the web form)

Submissions received by 10 AM Wednesday will be considered for the Friday Notes and/or social media accounts. Submissions received after this deadline will be prioritized at the discretion of the Editor and if not published in a given week, will be prioritized for the following week’s Notes.

 

The Community Classifieds are released on the 1st of every month (during the school year). Submissions must be received by noon, 2 days prior to the last day of the month to be considered for the upcoming Community Classifieds.
